FC Barcelona can breathe easy. Dani Olmo has made a firm decision about his future and it doesn’t involve leaving Camp Nou. Despite having received a colossal offer from Saudi Arabia, the Catalan attacking midfielder has said “no”.
The information has been revealed by Alfredo Martínez, a journalist from “Sport“, who has detailed all the figures of an offer that would have changed any footballer’s career.
An offer irresistible for many
Al-Qadisiyah contacted Dani Olmo’s camp more than a month and a half ago with an offer that was off the market.
It put forward a four-season contract, with a salary of 9.5 million euros net per season. In total, close to 40 million euros net of taxes.
But the offer was not only attractive for the player.

It also convinced Barça
The Saudi club was willing to pay 60 million euros to Barcelona to close the deal. This figure even slightly exceeded the 55 million euros that Barça paid in 2024 to RB Leipzig for his signing.
