The center-back from Inter Milan is the absolute priority for the sporting management, but the operation is not simple. In the offices at Camp Nou they have already made a firm decision.
The person in charge of leading the negotiations, Deco, has issued a clear ultimatum to the Italian side: either they lower their demands or Barça will change its target.
Bastoni, the chosen one, but without excesses
At FC Barcelona there are no doubts about Bastoni’s profile. He is the ideal center-back to strengthen the back line: left-footed, with good ball distribution, experience at the elite level, and still room to grow.
In addition, the player himself is clear about it. His desire is to wear the blaugrana jersey and he is willing to facilitate the operation. He gives absolute priority to Barça, which works in favor of the club’s interests.

Economic differences with Inter

That name is already on the table: Jhon Lucumí, a center-back from Bologna. The Colombian, who has a contract until 2027, is appreciated for his solidity, experience, and a much more accessible price.
